Some mysteries, some spooky. They range between one about her popular DI Joe Rafferty, to a satirical Christmas tale, via mucky schoolboys and another about an other-worldly experience, with two more thrown in for luck! Why not give them a try?

If you find you like the way she strings words together, you might be interested to know that she has also published twenty novels (fifteen in her Rafferty and Llewellyn cozy mystery series, two in her Casey and Catt cozy procedural series, one historical, one romance and a medical suspense chiller, as well as articles on a variety of subjects.

She has been writing since her twenties, but it was only when she hit the milestone age of thirty that she actually began finishing anything. She then wrote a novel a year for six years before she was published. That first published novel was a romance, but, then, after another rejection and feeling positively murderous, she switched to crime and DEAD BEFORE MORNING, the first book in what became her now 15-strong Rafferty & Llewellyn cozy procedural series, was taken from Macmillans slush pile and published.

They sold it in turn to St Martins Press and Worldwide (pb). And thus began a writing career covering eighteen traditionally-published novels and two indie-published. Geraldine Evans decided to turn down her publishers latest contract late in 2010 after reading various blogs (Joe Konraths, in particular) about self-publishing. It was the information that midlist authors could actually earn a proper living that attracted her.

And do you know? They were right! Goodbye hated day job! Hello freedom and joy in your work. As Del Boy Trotter would say: Lovely jubbly!WEBSITE: http://www.geraldineevans.comBLOG: http://geraldineevansbooks.wordpress.comNEWSLETTER SIGN-UP LINK: http://eepurl.com/AKjSj
